Ashlar Room Approved for Civil Ceremonies

 

Cheshire View is proud to announce that its unique and prestigious Ashlar Room has been approved by Cheshire West and Chester Council to hold Civil Ceremonies.  The Ashlar Room is situated on the first floor of Cheshire View and is easily reached by a wide staircase or lift, with its vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows this room is the ideal venue for your Civil Ceremony. Bookings being accepted now, please contact  the Hall Manager.

Roger Reynolds Appointed Ambassador for the Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys

Roger Reynolds a member of Bridgegate Lodge and a Director of Cheshire View has been appointed as Ambassador for the RMTGB in Cheshire.His role will be to increase awareness of the work undertaken by the Trust, identify potential petitioners through greater understanding of the core aims and to raise the positive profile of the Trust by highlighting successful initiatives such as ‘TalentAid’.

In the mid-1980s two national charities were brought together to form the Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys (MTGB). The former charities, the Royal Masonic Institution for Girls (RMIG) and the Royal Masonic Institution for Boys (RMIB), were merged with the MTGB and given the overall aim of relieving poverty and advancing education of children of all ages. By gracious permission of Her Majesty The queen, the Trust adopted the title of” Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys” (RMTGB) on 1 May 2003. Roger will be pleased to deliver a presentation on the workings of the Trust to any interested group or at any fund raising event.

Jayne Holds Successful Charity Event at Cheshire View

Jayne Farrell of Great Boughton raised more than £1700 for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd with a Black Tie Dinner Dance in the Stanley Walker Suite at Cheshire View recently.

Jayne and her husband Terry are hoping to raise hundreds of pounds for local charities as they head off for an adventure of a lifetime on an organised Charity Trek across the Sahara in November.
